The brush is 17mm long and 1mm wide tapering to a fine tip.It has a smart silver handle and is made from goats hair, involving no cruelty to the goats who have their beards trimmed! 

Don't forget that keeping your brushes clean is essential to ensure that they last well. If you leave colour on the brush, this can weaken the fibres and lead to breaking.

You should clean your brushes regularly and wash them in mild soap or shampoo. Make sure that you rinse the brush thorougly, cleaning the ferrule as well as the brush fibres.

After rinsing, strip the hairs of the brush from the tip downwards, then smooth them back into their original shape and leave the to dry in your brush washer!
